Montessori dementia care professional seminar
The Montessori Dementia Care Professional (MDCP) seminar is required for those who are interested in becoming a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP) and who have qualified through the International Council of Certified Dementia Care Practitioners (ICCDP) .
The MDCP Seminar provides vital education, information, and tools necessary to promote the ultimate person-focused approach to dementia care. The Montessori concepts and strategies taught during this seminar can be applied to all levels of dementia care to improve quality of life, meaningful social engagement, and independence for persons diagnosed with a form of Dementia. The implementation of the Montessori methods promotes all individuals with Dementia to be treated with dignity and respect throughout their journey.
The superior education contained in the MDCP Seminar is instrumental in providing top quality patient care and assistance for Healthcare Professionals, Memory Care Directors & Staff, Community Organizations, Care Partners, Families, and Individuals.
The vast knowledge obtained through this MDCP Seminar is also beneficial for those individuals that are not seeking the certification but wish to expand their Dementia knowledge and understanding. Below are the modules that are included in the MDCP Seminar.

In addition, attendees can receive CEUs for the MDCP Seminar. The application process and requirements vary across the country and are specific to your respective professions. Each organization/state can provide a checklist containing the required documentation and any applicable fees. Therefore, once you have completed the MDCP Seminar you will have 30 days and all the necessary documentation to begin the application process.

You will be provided a digital notebook prior to the start of class. If you prefer a hard copy of the notebook, one can be ordered for you at an additional cost.
Registrants who need to cancel must email the instructor at least 72 hours in advance of the seminar date. There is a $75.00 per person cancellation fee.
